MADEIRA´s new FIRE FIGHTER thread does not catch fire but sparks trends!

FIRE FIGHTER No.40 is a flame and heat resistant embroidery thread which is indispensable to motor sport clothing, workwear and protective clothing. FIRE FIGHTER No.40 is also used to embroider seat cushions of airplanes and wherever special safety aspects are essential.

FIRE FIGHTER complies with ISO standards ISO-6941 / ISO 15025 and is available in 25 rich and popular colours. Resulting in confidence and power for the sponsors.

When using FIRE FIGHTER, don´t forget to ensure the bobbin thread is also suitably flame retardant: MADEIRA´s special 100% Aramid bobbin thread.

Firefighters, motorsports people and workers in industries such as gas, oil or chemical work in environments where there is a risk of garment ignition. In these cases, employers have to ensure that their employees are adequately protected by providing flame-resistant clothing. 100% Aramid Fibres

Fire Fighter is made of 100% fire-resistant Aramid fibres containing DuPonts® Nomex® and complies with OEKO-TEX®STANDARD 100. The thread is designed to resist ignition and prevent flames from spreading, as well as to self-extinguish once the source of the fire is removed.

ISO 15025 tested

Our fire-resistant embroidery threads and backings are tested according to ISO 15025. They also allow for the completed product to be certified to many other standards and norms.
